This will mean that you are not charged fees (while you are unplaced) for the year but it is assumed that you are still looking fro a placement.

Payment Options
1. Full payment at registration
2. Paying in Instalments
Balance of fees due must be paid in two equal instalments, the first instalment by 30 November and the second instalment by 31 January.
3. Paying by Direct Debit
• Balance of fees due may be paid by direct debit in three equal instalments on 30 November, 31 January and 28 February.
• Direct debit mandates showing bank account details from participating UK banks MUST be received by finance staff at registration. For students registering off campus, please send your completed direct debit mandate to the fees office by 30 September.
• The fees office will send you a letter in November detailing the amounts of your direct debit, and the dates each instalment will be collected. If you do not receive this letter by 25 November, please contact the fees office.
• If you cancel the direct debit mandate during the year, or your direct debit payment fails and you still have an outstanding balance, there will be an administration charge of £45 added to your account.
4. Methods of Fee Payment
Payment may be made by the following methods:
• Cash
• Sterling cheque - cheques should be made payable to the ‘University of Ulster’ and crossed ‘Account Payee Only’. The student’s name, address and registration number should be written clearly on the back of the cheque. If you pay for your fees by sterling cheque, and this payment is rejected by the bank, there will be an administration charge of £45 added to your account.
• Sterling bank draft
• Credit card (visa/mastercard) or debit card (switch)
• Direct debit
