Student's Technical Report

This report is to enable the student to demonstrate their understanding of the relationship between
theory and practice in their workplace.

• Select one project in which you were involved this could be designing a website or a section of a site. It could be designing a logo or implementing a new strategy. You then need to write about your involvement in the project;

• Start with an introduction, what was the problem or the issue. The reader should know by the end of the introduction, the background to the project you are going to write about and why it was necessary to carry out the work. You should also outline your aims and objectives.

• Next the main text. This is where you describe the project and it should be divided into numbered and headed sections. These sections separate the different main ideas and processes in a logical order.

• The next section should be conclusions. A short, logical summing up of the theme(s) developed in the main text

• References - details of published sources of material referred to or quoted in the text (including any lecture notes and URL addresses of any websites used.
